Twilio is the leading company for sending SMS through the internet. They allow many companies team, solo developers and more to deliver advanced solutions for many needs.
Our plugin Ultimate SMS Notifications for WooCommerce rely on Twilio ability and features to send SMS and WhatsApp messages. For the first time users, you may get confused by the various features you will see in your account.
After creating your account on Twilio, you will get access to the platform and be able to retrieve your API Keys that will enable you to send SMS, WhatsApp messages through 3rd party apps.
Just you need to understand, you may see some account credit ( basically $15 for trial ) on your Twilio account, this credit allows you to send to only the phone number used when registering the account. If you try sending to another phone number, it may not work, and you may notice into the message sent the text : 'Trial mode' .
In such case, the solution will be to buy additional credits on your Twilio account, once done you may be able now to send orders notifications, shipping notifications, notifications for vendors if your store run with Dokan/WCFM and bulk messaging without problem.
You may encounter similar situations with other SMS Gateways companies too, in such case you may need to do the same thing.
